The Urban Health and Sustainable Development Program Series 2022 is a collaboration between MAEH and Centre of Environmental Health and Safety, Faculty of Health Sciences UiTM. It is a comprehensive initiative that aims to address the complex challenges faced by urban environments in relation to health and sustainable development. Recognizing the rapid urbanization and its impact on public health, this program seeks to foster integrated approaches that promote well-being, equity, and environmental sustainability in urban settings. The series entails these topics:
- Exploring The Role of Environmental Health in the Private Sector
- Preparedness and Mitigation of Flash Floods in Urban Area
- Urbanization and Changing Dietary Habits
- Risk Assessment and Disaster Management at Petrol Stations
- Distribution Mapping Of House Type, House Age And Sick Building Syndrome Among Work-From-Home Workers By Using A GIS-based Approach
This program aims to create resilient and inclusive cities that promote health, sustainability, and equitable development. Through collaboration, research, and capacity-building activities, MAEH strives to shape urban environments that prioritize health, well-being, and sustainable practices for present and future generations.
